Pattern Release: Ultimate Basic Top

Short blog post today…  The Ultimate Basic Top is finally here!  Although it was supposed to be released a while ago, I wanted to make sure the pattern would be just right.  You can find it in both my Ravelry and my Craftsy shop.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, the Ultimate Basic Top is an idea I first came up with over the summer.  I thought it would be cool to have a pattern that allowed knitters to customize it to their own measurements and use any technique they want to customize it to their own style.  Since I couldn’t find anything like this, I decided to write my own.  The Ultimate Basic Top pattern guides you through customizing your measurements based on a gauge swatch, and it allows you to use any yarn you want.  If you like the look of the sample in the photo above, I used US 8 needles (shop here), one skein of Lion Brand Homespun Thick and Quick in Antique (shop here), and one skein of Red Heart Soft Essentials in Cream (shop here).  I can’t wait to see what combinations you guys come up with! Be sure to tag me on social media so I can share your gorgeous makes 😊

PS- Crocheting friends, a crochet version will be out soon!
